NutriBullet Review

Do you have a NutriBullet yet? If not, I strongly suggest you get one if you spend a lot of time in the kitchen,. Even if you’re not a “chef”, this will make you feel like one! The NutriBullet is so handy for making healthy sauces, pestos, salad dressings, as well as their signature green smoothies! It’s a great way to Detox naturally! This is why I’m including the NutriBullet Review in my blog, because it is a herb lovers dream!NutriBullet

Just look at the features!

  • Effortlessly pulverizes fruits, vegetables, and super foods for nutritious protein shakes and green smoothies. If you’re making a sauce or dressing with fresh herbs such as parsley or cilantro, you can add the stems as well as the leaves. It’s so much faster than picking the leaves individually off of the stems.
  • High-torque power base and 600-watt motor. It’s so powerful, it blends up frozen fruit and ice like a dream!
  • Powerful, patented stainless steel blade design with cyclonic action. The blades are super strong, if you put nuts or oatmeal in your smoothie, it pulverizes them so you hardly know it! it will grid coffee too!
  • Includes power base, 1 tall cup, 2 short cups, 1 flat blade, 1 emulsifying blade, 2 resealable lids, pocket nutritionist and manual with recipes. The flat blade is for chopping ingredients.
  • Includes 1-year warranty and access to hundreds of smoothie recipes.
  • NutriBulletNOTE: Refer the User Manual before use.

The NutriBullet has so simple with many awesome features. It’s just a base with blender blades and a cup. There are two cups that come with the basic Bullet, large and small. It also comes with a chopper blade which I use for nuts, or to make oat flour from oatmeal. You can also use the chopper to make bread crumbs.

I make green smoothies that are just a tasty as they are good for you! Many people won’t drink them because they are green, but I can tell you, if you get past the color, they really are yummy! Thai Curry Pastes whip up in minutes, just add the ingredients and blend.

It comes with smoothie recipes to help with whatever ails you. Weight loss, stress, beauty, hormones, sleep better and more! It also has a diet regimen that you can follow which offers yummy meal and snack ideas.

For instance, I use it to blend up a can of tomatoes for sauces if I don’t have tomato sauce or crushed for soups or if I don’t want a really chunky pasta sauce. Takes about 2 minutes and clean up is fast. It also makes great hummus. Think of all the possibilities with different canned beans and herbs. I make a Japanese Raw Carrot Salad Dressing that is so healthy and low in fat! No need to buy dressings when it’s so easy with your NutriBullet!

Clean up is a breeze, just rinse with hot water and you’re ready to make your next creation! If you make something like salad dressing or a marinade that has oil as an ingredient, you will need to use some dish liquid, but it’s just a cup and a blade! It’s also dishwasher safe. I use mine so much, I only put it in the dishwasher to sterilize it, mostly after I blend something with strong spices.

I really just love it for the ease of use and it’s so healthy! If for what ever reason, I don’t bring a smoothie to work in the morning, I really miss it!

I would suggest that you buy the warranty when you purchase one, though, for two reasons. If you make a lot of smoothies, as I do, I will warn you. The NutriBullet doesn’t like some protein powders. I ruined my first one by using bone broth in a smoothie. It didn’t happen right away, at first I couldn’t twist off the lid easily, but eventually I got it off. Finally, after this happened a few times, (each time getting worse), there was no way that lid was coming off! It also started leaking all down through the unit. It was a mess!

So luckily, I had taken out the warranty. I called the warranty company, and one of the first questions I was asked was, “Did you use protein powder?” “Yup”, I said, and she said that’s why! They asked me to return it, but we had to throw it in the trash, it was such as mess. I figured it was a bio hazard and the post office wouldn’t allow it. So anyway, that was okay with them. I received a replacement of a newer model within a few days free of charge and I’ve had it ever since.

That was at least 2 years ago. Of course, I only use plant protein powders now. Pea protein works OK as well as some meal replacement shakes. I am kind to my Bullet and it’s been kind to me. I take a smoothie to work every morning.

If you have a NutriBullet I would love to hear what you use yours for the most! What is your favorite smoothie? I promise to get back to you! And as always, if you have any experiences you’d like to share, I’d love to hear them. I have quite a bit of experience so if you have any questions on usage, please ask!

Thanks! Jeanette
