Simple Fattoush Salad
Ingredients
- 2 Small pita breads, tosated, and torn into pieces
- 1 Large English cucumber, finely diced
- 2 cups Halved grape tomatoes
- 1/2 Red onion, finely diced
- 1/2 cup Chopped Italian parsley
- 1/2 cup Chopped fresh mint
- 2 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil, or to taste
- 1 tbsp Fresh lemon juice, or to taste
- 1 tsp Ground sumac, or to taste
- 1 Clove garlic, minced
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Crumbled feta cheese
Instructions
- Combine vegetables and herbs in a bowl. Mix Olive oil and rest of ingredients except feta. Gently toss with vegetable mixture. mix in pita. Transfer to serving platter or bowl. Crumble feta cheese on top and serve.
