- 1 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup sumac
- 2 tablespoons thyme
- 2 tablespoons marjoram
- 2 tablespoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon coarse salt
- Grind the sumac (if using whole sumac berries in a spice grinder).
A coffee grinder designated for spices only works well.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
Store in a cool, dark place in an airtight container for 3 months.
