Korean Spice Blend
Posted On August 12, 2019
This spice rub has become one of our favorites in my family.
It’s awesome sprinkled generously on ribs and chicken wings before grilling. Because it has brown sugar in it, it makes a great dry rub for meats. Our favorites are chicken wings and baby back ribs! Recently, I made party favors of this spice blend with my granddaughters, and I’ve already had requests for more! It’s worth searching for the gochugaru pepper flakes as I really don’t think there is a substitute.
You can add it into ground meat for burgers and meatloaf. Try my Korean meatball recipe for a new twist on an old favorite!
