Ras el Hanout is said to the be mix which highlights the best of the best! A merchant in Morocco may blend this traditional mix for sale to show off the best spices in his shop! This spice mix is best used in chicken and beef dishes, tagines, and rice and couscous dishes.

  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Ground ginger
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne
  • 1/2 tsp Ground allspice
  • 1/4 tsp Ground cloves


  • Mix all spices together in bowl. Store in airtight container in cool dark place. Will keep for 6 months.
